Our story begins with our Mom the late “Genora M. Goode” who had a heart of gold. She believed one of her purposes in life was to love and help people. Her passion was to bring family and friends together to enjoy large tables of food prepared by her and our Dad the late “Robert L. Goode”.  

 

Mom especially liked to bake cakes and pies of different types. She had a sweet tooth! Her specialty was to bake sweet potato pies. She mastered this recipe over prayer and dedication until it was perfect.

 

Our Dad supported Mom in this endeavor. By her side in the kitchen assisting her with whatever she needed to develop this recipe. They were married for 60 years and did everything together. 

 

In our line of desserts we call this one “ Ma Ma’s Pie” Over 35 years her sweet potato pies was sold for church fund raisers and special events. Mom would give her sweet potato pies to family and friends as Holiday gifts.

 

The other desserts we offer are some of her other favorites. We invite you to try these delicious desserts we have come to love and enjoy over the years. 

 

During the years Mom’s pies became famous and a must have for many customers across the Metropolitan area. Mom taught us well of how to serve others. She left her legacy with the family to cherish and carry on. It was our parent’s dream to leave this heritage with our family.
